Dr. Rafal is an excellent dermatologist. Sincere and compassionate. She removed a deep precancerous growth on my leg and was extremely thorough and is following through until it is completely healed. Jessica, her medical assistant is also knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased her facial skin care line and am extremely happy with the results I am getting.
Not sure what all of these negative reviews are about…Dr. Rafal is one of the sweetest doctors, my experience at this office is always wonderful and she always addresses all of my concerns and then some! I highly recommend her. The staff is also great and they take excellent care of me during my Aerolase and chemical peel procedures!
Dr Rafal is very professional, concerned about patient needs and concerns. I had 2 procedures done. First was much need forehead and crow lines with Botox. She was so gentle ! I hardly felt a thing. I’m still benefitting from the results , but it looks amazing !!! I had a small biopsy done. She gently injected site with numbing medicine -and waited for the medicine to have an effect and did the procedure!!! I can promise all of you - one thing , I am an registered nurse and have met many doctors over the years and she absolutely is top notch !!! Nurses are very critical of good medicine and I give her 5 stars!!!! Thank you Dr. Rafal !!!!
Dr Rafal treated me for an unusual skin condition. She knew exactly what to do, and provided me with a cream that remedied the problem quickly. She was professional and caring at all times.
Maggie was incredible ! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with what she does but she also makes you feel incredibly comfortable with each and every office visit. She helped me see great results and made me feel completely at ease!
I can't rave about this office enough. I discovered them online while researching microneedling procedures with PRP to help with chronic cystic acne and scarring. I made my first appointment with Lauren, and from the second I met her, she has gone above and beyond to make sure I saw major improvements with my skin. For the first time in almost 15 years, I am experiencing zero cystic breakouts for almost a year now! I have also seen major improvements to my scarring, and overall skin texture and pigmentation. Lauren has taken a holisitic approach to my treatment by using Microneedling with PRP, chemical peels, laser and daily topical treatments, including Dr. Rafal's own cleanser and glycolic moisturizer formulas. I have now seen Lauren 5 times and since she's transformed my skin by treating my chronic acne, we have shifted our focus to further improving my complexion and texture. I'm so happy with the progress we've made! I just cannot recommend this office enough. I have so much to say about my experience with Dr. Rafal I truly do not even know where to begin. I had an amazing experience and I am so beyond thankful for her and her team. About a year ago, I began losing my hair due to extreme stress, poor diet & a multitude of other factors. I’m 21 years old and never thought in a million years my hair would begin to fall out. I panicked and had no idea what to do, who to call, or how I could fix this. I went to numerous doctors and dermatologists, one of whom misdiagnosed me and gave me steroid shots for my hair loss, one of the worst things you could give to someone who doesn’t actually need it. I felt so hopeless and I thought I would lose all of my hair. Each day I would wake up to see more and more hair falling out. I was distraught. I was referred to a new dermatologist, Dr. Papadopulous in Bellmore, NY, who was incredible. She gave me great advice and suggested I get a consultation with Dr. Rafal for PRP treatments. I immediately gave them a call and scheduled an appointment as soon as I could. I went in and met with Lauren & Dr. Rafal. They were both so comforting, sweet & kind, and so is the rest of the team. I had reached my lowest point when I went in for my PRP consultation, and they reassured me they would be able to fix this. They promised that with 5-6 treatments my hair would be back to normal. I was worried & scared that I wouldn’t see results, but after each treatment my hair got better and better and today I am back to normal. If it wasn’t for Dr. Rafal and her team I would not be where I am today. Their support and kindness during this difficult time helped me tremendously and Dr. Rafal went above and beyond to make me feel comforted throughout my treatments. I would recommend anyone to visit Dr. Rafal. She is more than just a dermatologist, she is genuinely there to help you no matter what you are suffering with.
